Mob In Mojave 2/14-2/15
This past weekend, sweetheart's were left in the dust at the Valentine's Day Classic, better known as the 4th annual Mob In Mojave. The event took place at the infamous Bootleg Canyon outside of Las Vegas, NV. A preseason downhill, slalom and Super-D race to test the fitness of everyone's offseason training. Sharp rocks and high winds proved to be too much for some, while others showed their true colors as champions. The Atherton brothers, Dan and Gee, easily took the win in the Pro class.
Point One Racing's own Evan Turpen, Graeme Pitts, Jordan Lopez and Patrick Tidd were out in full force and putting up some impressive results! We are so proud to have them representing our products and helping to spread the word about Point One. Congratulations to all!

Emmeline wins the Aussie National DH Champs!
This past weekend was the Australian National DH Championship at Mt. Stromlo Park (site of the 2009 World Championships) in Canberra. Emmeline Ragot (FRA-Suspension Center) made the quick trip over from NZ and easily won the Pro Women's class. Using a Point One Racing DM stem and Time-Capsule, in this case, she won by quite a bit more than a split-second! Congratulations to her! In the men's field, Mick Hannah, after being out for almost a year, barely nudged out Jared Graves. Sam Hill finished 9th.

Muddy Santa Cruz ride! 12/14/08
A few of the Point One Racing team headed out to brave the cold and rain along some undisclosed trails in Santa Cruz, CA. Traction was perfect for about 80% of the ride, but some normally tacky shoots became mud slides and washed us away. Ultimately, this is how the story ended up: muddy bikes and happy faces!

Cow Palace Bicycle Trade Show & Swap Meet
Point One Racing saddled up their gear and headed out to the rodeo this past weekend to the Bay Area Bicycle Trade Show & Swap Meet at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA. Two huge halls held an area for both vendors debuting products and swappers out there looking to either swing or steal a deal. On top of that there was GoldSprint demo there, where you can have an all out race against your friends! Even more exciting though, was Point One Racing showcasing the new Split-Second 70 stem and Limited Edition Split-Second 50. Eager crowds were baffled as to how light it could be, so of course we had a gram counter to prove them right! Stay tuned because we will be back next year to tip even bigger cows at the Bay Area Bicycle Trade Show & Swap Meet.
