The sixth and final round of the 2010 World Cup series is in the books. Windham, NY was the host of the first world cup in the USA since 2005! Tucked away in the Catskill mountains, it was the perfect venue to decide the fate of the series. A brand new course that not even locals had seen made the playing field even for everybody. An exciting finish for the men's category with Gee Atherton taking the overall by only 0.37 seconds over Greg Minnaar.
In the women's category, Rachel Atherton coming off of injury took the win, marking another historic race for the Atherton dynasty. Sabrina Jonnier finished 8th but still had enough points for the overall. Point One Racing's Emmeline Ragot made up a lot of ground on Jonnier, however it still was not enough to take the top spot. She finished 3rd in the race and second place overall. Congratulations!
