The sun was shinning after a couple weeks worth of storms hit the Bay Area and provided us with some of the best traction possible for the CCCX Finals. This series has not only given us some more great testing on our new Podium Pedal, but also given us that extra training, getting everyone prepared for the upcoming race season. The race course was similar to that of the first race this series. Starting off on a fast fireroad flying down some pretty rutted shoots. The single-track portion of the course featured some new jumps and berms, with finally a short uphill sprint to some flat corners finished off the race.
Co-founder Tim Lukko missed the podium by a couple spots, however this allowed for a 2nd place overall finish in the series.

Mike Amaral with having only one other race this series under his belt, showed up and did pretty well, still managing a 3rd place overall. Awesome job for coming off an injury.
Keith Morelan made this his first race of the series, having been training at the local dirt jumps, Keith was still looking pretty fast on his big bike. However with the times so tight in the pro class, he rounded out the top 10.
Patrick Tidd had the whole family out again but barely missed the #1 stop which he usually claims, nonetheless he still had the overall win, awesome job. His daughter Ruby finished 3rd place in her respective class. Impressive!
Allen Stoddard is also coming off his broken wrist on his brand new bike, he still picked up a 7th place finish for his efforts, missing the box by a few seconds.
Ian Massey had the pro class almost wrapped up, it came down to the finals where riders would be awarded double points. Although Ian did not win the race (Ben Cruz of WTB did...again), he still got 3rd place which gave him the overall. Good job Ian.
Chris Lauber had a great run in the Expert class on his new bike, a podium finish is always a great way to end out the series.
For Alex Amaral, this was his first series racing Pro. Having some great finishes with the finals being no different, a 5th place in the finals gave him a 3rd place overall in the series. We are all excited to see how well he will do this year at the national level.
Jimmy Amaral still reigned supreme racing against his little brother. Although they did not beat Ian from getting that top spot, Jimmy received 4th place for the race and 2nd overall.
Here it is, a 1-2-3 stacked Point One Racing pro podium! A big thanks to all our riders, friends and fans who have supported us. The Amaral family, Rick Rasmussen, Keith & Rod and the rest of the CCCX crew. Thank you.
